THE badly decomposed body of an adult male was recovered at a dam in Ndabayakhe Reserve outside Empangeni along the R102 this morning.
According to police, Empangeni’s Search and Rescue K9 Unit was deployed to the area after a local fisherman spotted what he presumed to be a body floating in the dam.
SAPS indicated that there has been no missing persons case reported in the area.
An inquest docket has been opened to determine the cause of death.
