New gynae delivers her first baby at Life Empangeni Private Hospital

Parents invited to Pregnancy and Baby Workshop

Life Empangeni Private Hospital’s new gynaecologist and obstetrician Dr Nonjabulo Dlala delivered her first baby at the hospital on Thursday, 4 October.

She assisted Nonhlanhla Moleki in giving birth to a bouncy baby girl named Reitumetse.

Little Reitumetse weighed 3.260kg and measured 54cm at birth.

The Molelekis were pleased with the level of care they received from the maternity unit staff and cannot stop thanking Dr Dladla for her excellent work ethic and bringing their bundle of joy into the world.

Dr Dladla recently opened her practice at the hospital after obtaining her Masters Degree in Medicine in 2017.

She is originally from Umlazi.

‘There is a huge need for African female gynaecologists and I am excited to render this service here in Empangeni,’ she says.
