YOUNG people from all walks of life should strive to emulate the life of Anton Lembede, the founding President of the ANC Youth League, who is still admired today.
This was the message of Musa Dladla ANC Youth League Regional Treasurer, Bongani Skawoti Mjadu, at the Anton Lembede Memorial Lecture at Wood and Raw Primary School last week.
Mjadu said young people should at all times arm themselves with education.
‘The call for economic freedom in our lifetime will remain a pipe dream unless young people take up the issue of education seriously.
‘Let us follow in the footsteps of Lembede, who despite being an activist, saw the need to arm himself academically.’
