KWAMSANE detectives are investigating a case of abduction after a 24-year-old woman went missing last week from Esiyembeni area.
The case was opened by the victim’s mother who reported to have followed her daughter, Mukelile Mlambo, to the river to collect water.
The mother, Phethile Mlambo, told police she was far away from her daughter when she saw a man dragging her into a nearby forest.
Phethile could not identify the man as she was too far away.
She tried to follow the path they took but was unable to locate anything or anyone.
The incident occurred at about 4pm last Monday.
