Join Foskor and 1KZNTV for a charity golf day

Club together for charity

Join Foskor and 1KZN TV for a charity golf day on 28 and 29 September.

Following the success of last year’s inaugural charity golf day, the aim is once again to raise funds to buy school uniforms and shoes for learners from local disadvantaged schools.

They also intend to afford exceptionally performing Grade 12 learners an opportunity to register for their tertiary education.

This golf day is thus the ideal opportunity for clients, business partners, suppliers and service providers to network, have fun and raise funds for the less fortunate.

Set to take place at Empangeni Country Club, a four ball will cost the team R9000, while single players will have to pay R2250. This fee includes a coctail dinner, green fees, golf cart, caddie, goodie bag and halfway house.

The maximum handicap for men is 20 and for ladies is 24.

The Friday at noon will see registrations, handouts and allocation of tee-off times, followed by a practice round for own account but at a discounted rate.

A cocktail function at the same Empangeni Country Club venue at 6pm will encourage fellowship and preparation for the main event.

Golfers can enjoy tea and coffee on the patio from 6.30 – 9am on Saturday and early starters will tee off from 6.30am. The format is a 4 Ball Alliance with two scores to count.

At the end of what should be a pleasant day for a most worthy cause, the prize giving and entertainment will begin at 6pm.
