OFFICIAL signage warning bathers of the dangers of rip currents and sensitive dune vegetation has been erected at Alkantstrand, in the vicinity of the lifeguard building.

The sign is sponsored by SignForce and is a community initiative to help keep bathers safe in the water and to educate visitors as to the area’s sensitive coastal dune vegetation.
