MONDI Richards Bay last week donated paper to local schools, crèches and non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
The donation, which is one of the company’s CSI projects, was applauded by King Cetshwayo District Director for Education, David Chonco, who attended the handover ceremony.
‘I have to applaud Mondi for this good gesture to benefit education.
This paper goes a long way in assisting the different schools with their work,’ Chonco said.
CSI Manager at Mondi Richards Bay, Hlengiwe Mvubu, said, ‘This initiative is part of building a partnership with our communities and giving back to local schools and NGOs around us.’
