Richards Bay resident convicted for being a danger to traffic
BEGGING for donations on the street has come at a cost for a Richards Bay man who was sentenced to pay a fine of R1 000 or spend 10 days in jail.
Attie Pretorius (48) pleaded guilty in the Richards Bay Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday for conducting himself in a manner that constitutes a danger to traffic.
He was convicted for being a danger on the public road by standing in the middle of Premium Promenade road displaying a cardboard message requesting donations.
