Government entities are focusing on assisting small and medium business enterprises
SMALL and medium enterprises on Tuesday learnt about the export market, as well as the role of the Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone (RBIDZ).
The Zululand Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ZCCI) hosted the SMME seminar at which RBIDZ Chief Financial Officer, Mzamo Khuzwayo spoke, as well as Dennis Ndlovu, uThungulu SEDA Manager at the Small Enterprise Development Agency, and Trade and Investment KZN’s (TIKZN) Export Development Manager, Francois Bietrix.
Entrepreneurs learnt about how TIKZN can help them find appropriate export markets, about how the RBIDZ is working to improve Richards Bay to make it a more attractive to investors, and how they can register on the SEDA database to gain business advice.
