HAVING to queue from before sunrise might still be no guarantee of service at Department of Home Affairs branches – as a result of social media hoaxes.
One claimed that green bar coded identity documents would expire at the end of March.

Exposed to vicious summer sun and without food or toilet facilities, they could find themselves having to return the next day…and the next… without so much as getting inside the doors.
