KwaMsane suspected thieves arrested with loot

According to police reports there have been many house break-ins and business robberies in the area

IN a joint operation in the KwaMsane area, three suspects were in the early hours of Thursday morning arrested for being in possession of suspected stolen property and an unlicensed firearm.

The KwaMsane Crime Prevention Unit and Special Task Team led by Col Ndwandwe, acted on information they received and carried out their early morning raid in Mfekaye.

According to police reports there have been many house break-ins and business robberies in the area.

During a search of the suspects’ homestead, police recovered welding instruments, a flat screen TV, a fan, amplifier, running shoes, a shotgun with two live rounds of ammunition, and a block chain. All the recovered items had been stolen during break-ins committed in the area.

The shotgun was found to have been stolen in Hluhluwe in November.

The suspects, aged between 25 and 30, were arrested and detained at the KwaMsane Police Station holding cells.
