AN eSikhaleni mother is fast losing hope that she will ever see her daughter alive again.
Traumatised Thembile Yaka last saw her daughter, Sonto Gugulethu Gumbi (39) in September, 2016.
‘Gugulethu had then just graduated at the University of South Africa after completing her LLB degree in Pretoria.
‘I last saw her two days after the graduation ceremony and she promised to return home in December.
‘When we phoned her in December she told me she had left the country on holiday, but did not tell me which country she was visiting,’ said Yaka.

‘I then received a call from Sonto in July last year and when I asked her about her whereabouts she hung up. I tried to call her but the phone remained off.
‘I traced the number and discovered that she was calling from Uganda.’
