Major retailer offers bursaries to students

Both matriculants and students already busy with tertiary studies can apply

THE Shoprite Group is calling for students to make use of its bursary opportunities, with some money still in the kitty for this year.

Students currently completing tertiary qualifications in programmes such pharmacy, chartered accounting, supply chain management and logistics, information technology and retail business management, could still qualify for bursaries of up to R70 000 – depending on the course of study and institution – to assist with tuition, books and accommodation fees.

Each bursary is linked to a work-back agreement with the group, giving students an ideal launch pad to start their working lives.
