FOUR siblings of the Mhlongo family at eMkhobosa reserve at eSikhaleni were attacked and shot by a group of unknown suspects on Saturday night.
It is reported that the suspects, armed with pistols, opened fire and a 35-year-old man was fatally shot and was declared dead at the scene.
His two brothers were seriously wounded – one shot in the stomach and the other in the chest – while the other was shot in the hand.

The shooting occurred at about 7pm and the three survivors were rushed to hospital and remain in ICU.
Provincial police spokesperson Colonel Thembeka Mbhele said three cases of attempted murder and one of murder are under investigation at eSikhaleni SAPS.
‘The motive for the attack is unknown at this stage and no arrests have yet been made,’ said Mbhele.
