Cop fortunate to survive at tow truck death scene

THE ZO has come to learn that the suspect involved in the assassination of local tow truck company owner, Siphelele ‘Phephe Madlisa’ Sibiya (29) on Saturday night in Richards Bay, attempted to kill the police officer who attended the scene.

‘‘He actually attempted to shoot our member more, after initially shooting him, but he had no more bullets left,’ said King Cetshwayo Police spokesperson, Capt Mbongeni Mdlalose.
