DETECTIVES of Nyoni SAPS have made a breakthrough in a murder case, which saw Zoe Buthelezi (49) and her son, Mthunzi Zulu (19) being brutally killed in the Esidakeni area, near Mandini.
They arrested a 45-year-old suspect in eShowe after following up on information that the man was hiding on Gebhasi farm, outside eShowe.

He was arrested for the killing on 13 January and was due to appear in the Nyoni Magistrate’s Court on Friday facing two counts of murder.
Nyoni police were called by community members to investigate the disappearance of the mother and her son.
They exhumed a fresh grave and found two bodies; one was chopped into pieces and wrapped in plastic.
