The search had to be halted on Monday as the raging river made for dangerous conditions.

By midday yesterday (Wednesday) search operations had yielded no results.

Meanwhile, an eight-year-old girl was pulled to safety from the river on Monday after community members rallied and were able to bring her safely to the river bank.
