THE annual Leomat 1 000m swim will be held on Friday, 2 and Saturday, 3 March at Empangeni municipal swimming pool.
uShaka Swimming Club will host the popular event this year.
The action will get underway on the Friday from 11am to 7pm with the team relays and learn to swim events taking place.
All individual swims will take place on the Saturday from 8.30am to 3pm.
Individual entries cost R120 per person, with team entries costing R500.
The learn to swim event will cost R30 per event and R100 for a team of four to enter the relay event.
There are lane sponsorships available at R3 000, with all proceeds going to the Richards Bay SPCA.
