ONE of the key focus areas of The Abundant Life Centre (TALC) in Richards Bay is life-long learning, and this week the centre visited two local primary schools to donate new school uniforms and shoes to learners and encourage them to work hard and stay focused on their education.
According to Pastor Ivan Naidoo, the centre, with the help of principals at Floraton Primary School in Aquadene and Matshagule Junior Primary outside KwaDlangezwa identified learners who would benefit from the donations.
‘TALC focuses on spirituality, health and hygiene and life-long learning and our programmes, outreaches and community involvement encourages development in these areas.
‘We value education and are grateful to these schools for allowing us the opportunity to bless these children with new uniforms.
‘It is important for learners to have pride and it is vital to boost their self esteem which will carry them through their lives,’ said Naidoo
