THE man arrested in connection with last week’s massive heroin bust at the Golela border post has appeared in court and the case has been postponed to Friday.
Heroin weighing 200kg and valued at R140-million was last week seized in a combined intelligence-driven operation.

A truck identified by Crime Intelligence Border Security as being used for the smuggling of heroin from Mozambique to South Africa via Swaziland, arrived at the border post last Wednesday.
Golela police officers were notified and the truck was intercepted just before it left the border post.
An inspection of the truck revealed a false compartment in which the huge haul was found.
