THREE employees of PEP Empangeni appeared at the Empangeni District Court on Friday on charges of theft.

According to King Cetshwayo Police Spokesperson, Captain Mbongeni Mdlalose, the three female employees were all arrested and charged with theft after cellphones went missing from the store.

This came after police were investigating a case of business robbery, which took place last month at the store in Empangeni.

According to the police, two male suspects entered the retail store shortly after 4pm on 14 December, produced firearms and held up staff and customers.
