Essential donation for State Vet

The apron was donated by Richardson, Udarajh and Partners Inc and will help Chelopo immensely in his work

TO thank him for his ongoing support of Project Feral Cat’s sterilisation campaigns, State Vet Dr David Chelopo was recently given a lead apron to provide him with the necessary protection while carrying out x-rays.

The apron was donated by Richardson, Udarajh and Partners Inc and will help Chelopo immensely in his work.

Based at the Owen Sitole Agricultural College outside Empangeni, Chelopo has been involved in Project Feral Cat’s sterilisation campaigns in and around Richards Bay.

‘He has been such a great help, we could not have done as many campaigns as we have done, without him,’ said Project Feral Cat’s Heilke Ackerman.

Using the trap, neuter, release method, the NPO recently carried out another 15 sterilisations.

Should anyone, whether individual or corporate, wish to sponsor a sterilisation campaign or support Project Feral Cat, Ackerman can be contacted on pferalcat@gmail.com.
