Three metre crocodile in the Mzingazi canal

The Zululand Yacht Club reports a crocodile of about 3 metres in length swimming in the Mzingazi Canal close to the club.

This is situated between the Steel Bridge and Pelican Island and poses a great danger to bathers, anglers, canoeists and boaters.

Please be extremely wary if in that area.

The Zululand Observer has reported the croc’s presence to authorities.
