Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa is taking his election campaign to the rural Far North Region

"Let us deepen unity" is the campaign message

ONE of the front runners for the ANC top job, Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa is taking his election campaign to the rural Far North Region.

Known as ‘CR17,’ Ramaphosa will address his supporters at the Ezibukweni Sportsfield in Jozini on Sunday November 19, starting at 12h00.

This will be Ramaphosa’s first visit to the Far North Region. He looks set to be upping his game as the succession battle intensifies for the watershed ANC’s 54th National Conference to be held in Midrand, Gauteng, which commences from 16-20 December 2017.

Ramaphosa’s address is likely to focus on the ideals and teachings of former ANC’s longest serving President Oliver Reginald Tambo, under the theme ‘Let Us Deepen Unity.’
