BREAKING: Five people killed during business robbery shootout
An undisclosed amount of cash was taken
THREE security guards and two innocent bystanders have been killed during an armed business robbery in KwaDlangezwa at the Vulindlela Shopping Centre, just off the R102 this evening.
While information is sketchy, preliminary reports indicate that there was a shootout between the security guards and the armed suspects.
Police could not confirm how many suspects were involved but confirmed an undisclosed amount of cash was taken during the robbery.
According to a witness, the suspects fled the scene using a white Toyota Hilux vvti.
A case of murder and business robbery has been opened and will be investigated by Mtunzini SAPS.
