DESPITE efforts to save their friend’s life, Sandile Mkhize (34) who was found lying along Bullion Boulevard with a bleeding nose on Monday night, died before reaching the hospital.
Mkhize, believed to be a trolley pusher, was put into his trolley by his friends and pushed to Netcare The Bay Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
Details surrounding the incident are sketchy and police have opened an inquest docket. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
