POLICE are investigating a case of business robbery after CNA was held up at Sanlam Centre in Empangeni on Sunday morning.
According to King Cetshwayo Cluster Spokesperson, Captain Mbongeni Mdlalose, the suspects pretended to be customers.
‘The two suspects entered the store and acted as if they were interested in buying something.
‘They then produced firearms and held up the shop attendant.
‘They stole a number of cellphones before fleeing the scene,’ said Mdlalose.
No arrests have yet been made and Empangeni detectives are investigating the case.
