uMkhuze game hides opened

The brand new kuMalibala hide has finally reopened after years of drought and dereliction

THE latest phase of infrastructure developments in the uMkhuze Game Reserve section of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park is almost complete, with the fully rebuilt kuMahlala and kuMalibala hides now open to the public.

The brand new kuMalibala hide has finally reopened after years of drought and dereliction.

The installation of ‘eco-loo’ ablutions at the hides continues and contractors have been requested to keep the noise levels of construction down so as not to disturb the guest experience.

The popular kuMasinga hide is due to undergo the final stages of refurbishment and is expected to be closed to the public until the end of October.
