A 74-year-old man died after he was reportedly stabbed by his wife in Mtubatuba.
According to a police statement, the Nkombose man was found stabbed in his bedroom by his son on Tuesday evening.
On the son’s arrival home after a visit to town, his mother ran away without saying a word.
He then went to their bedroom where he found his father bleeding heavily and unable to speak.
He rushed his father to the KwaMsane Clinic, but he passed away en route.
The deceased sustained multiple stab wounds to his chest and face.
The suspect handed herself to the police and KwaMsane detectives are investigating a case of murder.
