Dlangezwa High School teacher arrested for alleged rape
THE bail application of a 42-year-old teacher accused of raping a 17-year-old KwaDlangezwa schoolgirl will be heard in the Empangeni’s Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.
The teacher was arrested on Friday following an operation held by the King Cetshwayo Cluster in conjunction with the Empangeni and eShowe Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) units.
It is claimed he has been raping the girl since February this year.
It is reported that the mother of the girl asked the teacher to give her daughter a lift from Empangeni to school as she trusted him.
The girl alleges that the teacher started raping her in February and did so repeatedly until she alerted her mother of what was going on.
