A THIRD suspect (54) arrested in connection with the Mbongolwane massacre is due in the eShowe Magistrates’ Court today (Monday).
The arrest is in connection with an attack on a homestead in the Mbongolwane area on 6 August.
It has also been reported that a fourth person, taken to hospital after the attack, has succumbed to his injuries and those arrested are now facing charges on four counts of murder and one attempted murder.
Five people were sleeping in the homestead when they were attacked and their dwelling set alight.
Three people died at the scene and two seriously injured.
