Catch Bobby van Jaarsveld live in the Bay

Bobby will be one of the headline acts at this years Dolos Festival in Richards Bay

Afrikaans heartthrob and The Voice coach Bobby van Jaarsveld will form part of the line-up at this year’s Dolos Festival.

Since bursting onto the music scene in 2006 with his debut album Duisend Ure and winning the Best Newcomer Award at the Huisegenoot Temp Awards, Bobby has become one of the country’s best-loved Afrikaans pop artists.

He has pocketed numerous musical awards in his career, including Huisgenoot Tempo, SAMA, Vonk and Ghoema awards.

Bobby will share the stage with Koos Kombuis, Majozi, Anton Botha on the Saturday, 23 September.

Catch them live at the Dolos Festival at the open grounds across from Richards Bay Ski Boat Club, near Alkantstrand.

Both the Friday and Saturday evening’s shows will be followed by an after party with more live music.

Venue tickets for the venue cost R200 per adult or R100 per child under 12.

A day pass costs R100 per adult or R50 per child.

Children younger than three years old may enter the venue for free.
