THE Richards Bay Suid-Afrikaanse Vrouefederasie (SAVF), in partnership with the Zululand Business Association, is turning cash donations into food cards for poverty-stricken community members.
Vouchers can be spent at Shoprite, Checkers, Hungry Lion, Medi+Rite Pharmacy, House & Home, Checkers Hyper, OK Furniture and Shoprite Usave.
The cards ensure that the homeless spend donated money on essential items.
Project Manager Irma Dreyer said any contributions from businesses or the public would be appreciated to assist the poor.

Cash donations can also be dropped off at the SAVF offices in Bottlebrushbend, Veldenvlei.
