KWAMSANE Crime Prevention members arrested three suspects and confiscated three unlicensed firearms during an intelligence driven operation at Mfekayi Reserve, Mtubatuba on Friday.
An intensive investigation was conducted and police determined the suspects were on their way to commit murder at Mpukunyoni Reserve.
They were charged with conspiracy to commit murder and appeared at the KwaMsane Magistrate’s Court on Monday. The case was postponed to next Wednesday for a bail hearing.

KZN Acting Provincial Commissioner, Maj Gen Bheki Langa, said the seized weapons will be taken for ballistic testing to ascertain if they were used in the commission of any crime.
