Workers exposed to unfair labour practises

LABOUR federation giant Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) has added its weight behind those calling for Thanda Royal Zulu FC to remain in the City of uMhlathuze.

Speaking to the Zululand Observer after meeting last week in Richards Bay, COSATU local secretary Lindah Mashaba said they were devastated by the news that the newly promoted PSL side, Thanda Royal Zulu FC could be lost to the region, owing to a much talked about sale agreement with AmaZulu FC.

‘It appears that our excitement has been short lived. We had just congratulated Amabhubesi for being crowned champions of the NFD thus gaining promotion to the PSL.

‘Their victory was also for the whole region. It was the first time the region was going to have a PSL side.
