Bad weather closes Richards Bay port

All vessel movements at the Port of Richards Bay have been suspended due to adverse weather conditions

AS of 7am today, all vessel movements at the Port of Richards Bay have been suspended due to adverse weather conditions.

According to Acting Harbour Master, Thamsanqa Mdlalose, monitoring and assessment will be ongoing and should the conditions improve, operations will recommence.

Southwesterly wind speed was recorded at 73 knots, while swell height was 4.2m
