Find me somebody to love – SPCA

Add a member to your family this winter

ADOPTING a dog or cat from the Empangeni SPCA will not only add love to your family, but will mean fewer stray animals on the streets, and less strain on SPCA kennels and staff.

All dogs at Empangeni SPCA walk well on leads, courtesy of Empangeni Dog Club, and all dogs adopted from this SPCA get a free beginners training course at the Empangeni Dog Club.

Lady is a female mixed breed who is about one year old and loves to climb trees. She was surrendered to Empangeni SPCA where she had her pups, all of which have found homes. Lady has been at the SPCA for about four months and is looking for a loving home. She is a confident, very good natured dog, is good with both cats and dogs, making her an ideal family pet. Lady can be found in kennel S3 at Empangeni SPCA

There is a strict adoption procedure, which includes the completion of an application form, a property inspection and, if approved, the following fees apply: R650 for dogs and R350 for cats.

This is a once-off fee and includes sterilisation of the animal, vaccinations and de-worming.

Also looking for a loving home are these sibling cuties, as is its mother. They can be found in kennel A at Empangeni SPCA

Anyone who wants to donate to Empangeni SPCA is welcome to drop off donations of soft and hard food for dogs and cats, money, blankets, toys and dog collars.

Please note the SPCA’s office number is 071 1744746 as the land line is out of order.
