EACH one of these animals is available for adoption from the Richards Bay SPCA.

Diesel is a three-year-old pit bull surrendered to the Richards Bay SPCA mid-March. His owner was moving into a smaller complex. Diesel has a lovely personality, is good with children and other dogs but not cats. He is sterilised. Diesel is available now for adoption and is looking for a loving home. He is in kennel C2

A strict adoption procedure applies, and prospective owners must complete an adoption application form, after which SPCA inspectors undertake a property inspection.

This little female mixed breed was rescued on the freeway in Durban. She was brought to Richards Bay but her rescuer’s other, larger dogs did not accept her. She was surrendered to the SPCA late March and is looking for a loving home. She is between the age of two and four and is timid, but affectionate. She is in kennel B2

Please note this is a once-off fee which includes your new pet’s first 5-in-1 vaccination, a rabies vaccination, de-worming treatment, sterilization (if older than 6 months), and an SPCA identification tag.

These puppies are about five weeks old and were brought in to the SPCA together with their mother who is a Dobermann Pinscher (also looking for a home). They have been at the SPCA since early April and will all be ready for adoption towards the end of this month. They are in kennel B7
