Hit-and-run victim looks for eyewitnesses

Richards Bay man is appealing for any witnesses to an accident that left his car severely damaged

A RICHARDS BAY man is appealing for any witnesses to an accident that left his car severely damaged, to come forward.

Tony Nothnagel says a car smashed into his vehicle on the John Ross Parkway on 1 February near Green Africa Nursery, just before noon.

‘The driver just carried on after hitting me, travelling towards Empangeni,’ Nothnagel said, explaining he requires a witness to confirm his story so that he can file a claim.

‘I am appealing specifically to the lady who witnessed the incident and who stopped to check on me,’ he said.

Anyone with information regarding the incident can contact the Zululand Observer offices on 035 7990500.
