One injured in N2 truck, bakkie smash

IPSS Medical Rescue treated one man who was seriously injured when his bakkie slammed into the back of a medium sized truck on the N2 Monday morning.

The accident occurred near Bridge 7 close to Amatikulu.

According to Richard Schouten of IPSS, the man was in a serious condition.

‘He was stabilised on scene and then transported to Stanger Hospital for further treatment,’ Schouten said.

‘Another patient sustained only minor injuries and was treated on scene.’
