Back-to-school donations request

The campaign will run from now until schools open in January 2017

A MTUBATUBA resident is making an appeal to people and businessmen who would like to donate school shoes, school backpacks, sanitary towels for girls, stationery and cosmetics for both boys and girls.

Chris Mkhize is embarking on a back-to-school campaign to help learners from disadvantaged backgrounds, including children in foster care and children’s homes.

This campaign will run from now until schools open in January 2017.

‘I would like to thank all sponsors who have already contributed in this campaign, such as the Mtubatuba mayor Cllr Qhina Mkhwanazi, Dr SLNkosi and Rise FM Community Radio Station manager – Bonginkosi Bhengu,’ said Mkhize.

If anyone wishes to assist in this campaign, please contact Chris Mkhize on: 079 1576764, or drop the items off at Rise FM offices, behind Nedbank in Mtubatuba CBD.
