Graduation day for Amangwe’s angels

The six-year-old master of ceremonies, Lungile Foli, eloquently welcomed more than a 100 esteemed guests

EDUCATION is one of the greatest gifts of all and the proudest moment for any child is the graduation.

That is why Amangwe Villagers dabbed tears when 40 Grade Rs graduated on Thursday, radiant in their step-outs and confidently presenting their Nativity play.

The six-year-old master of ceremonies, Lungile Foli, eloquently welcomed more than a 100 esteemed guests before handing over to his beautiful co-presenter, Philati Mamabolo, to thank their sponsors – Nando’s Richard Bay, Bees Ink, the KwaMbonambi ladies fellowship group and Mfolozi Municipality.

Amangwe Manager Erna Steynberg said though it is important to invest in the future of Amangwe’s children through quality education, it is even more important for them to be supported by their parents and family.

‘It was clear from their confident presentation how they have grown and developed, speaking and performing fearlessly in front of a large crowd.

‘Amangwe Crèche provides basic care to children between the ages of three to six, exposing them to stimulating programmes in preparation for big school,’ said Steynberg.

‘It takes a combined effort from all to ensure Amangwe can provide in the needs of the children and we welcome any donation towards the crèche.’

Steynberg can be contacted on 035 5804504 or manager@amangwe.org.za should anybody be interested in sponsor the crèche fees of a child for 2017.
