ACTING police commissioner general BP Langa rewarded police for diligent work in Mtubatuba last Friday.
The men and women in blue were honoured for going beyond the call of duty in fighting crime, engaging in school crime awareness campaigns, investigating cases affecting children and women and the curbing of criminal acts taking place in towns and residential areas.
These stalwarts will compete against their counterparts at national level on a date soon to be announced.
Mtubatuba’s heroes, Captain Abraham Makhunga and Constable Victoria Mhlongo, received certificates and medals for their sterling work.
