ESHOWE detectives are urgently needing assistance in identifying a deceased man who was murdered on 27 September at Mahudlu, KwaKhoza area.
He was killed when the community took the law into their own hands and assaulted him.
The mob suspected that he was responsible for the murder of a 10-year old boy on 25 September in the same area.
The man was not known in the area.
A Sundumbili Clinic card with the name Mbuso Mkhize aged 32, date of birth 13 December 1982 was found in his possession, but it could not be verified if it in fact belonged to him and no address was found.
The man is about 1.82 metres tall and dark in complexion.
He was wearing a blue Zion shirt with a big white cross on the back.
