Housebreakers five strike City businesses in two days

FIVE Richards Bay retailers suffered thousands of rands in losses following a spate of business burglaries at two central CBD shopping centres and a car dealership.

On Saturday, a car dealership was broken into through the parameter fence and electronic equipment such as laptops were stolen.

On Sunday night burglars gained entry into a stationary business through the roof of the shopping centre.

The store suffered the loss of their electronic displays, including cell phones and laptops.

According to reports, forensic evidence gathered at the scene indicated that at least one perpetrator was injured.
