THE Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) has slammed ANC councillors in the Jozini Municipality for failing to attend a council meeting to elect the new council executive last Friday.
‘We find the behaviour of the ANC councillors at Jozini highly irresponsible,’ said IFP KZN Provincial Secretary, Cllr V F Hlabisa.
‘They refused to attend the council sitting on Friday and remained in their caucus room until the sitting had to be adjourned.
‘By doing so they deprived the people of Jozini from an inaugurated executive committee so that service delivery could commence without further delay.’
