SPCA desperate for cash injection to survive

Urgent call for animal support

ANIMAL welfare SPCA Richards Bay is in desperate need of financial support to keep its operations running in and around town.

The non-profit organisation’s (NPO) chairperson Anna-Mare Coetzee on Wednesday said the society is in crisis and ‘reaching a critical situation at this point in time’.

‘We have been under serious financial pressure for several months now and depend on caring community members and businesses to relieve the strain.

‘We do hereby request any cash donations towards the animals in our care to continue our daily operations.

‘Without financial support our society would be unable to continue operating.
