uThungulu district changes name
Zwelithini thanked the municipal leadership for renaming the district after King Cetshwayo.

HIS Majesty King Goodwill Zwelithini unveiled a statue of King Cetshwayo during the renaming of uThungulu District Municipality and the uThungulu municipal offices on Tuesday in Richards Bay.
At the launch of the new name – the King Cetshwayo District Municipality – the district also unveiled the new logo and the sculpture which has been erected at the entrance of the municipal offices, now named King Cetshwayo House.
Zwelithini thanked the municipal leadership for renaming the district after King Cetshwayo.
The renaming was motivated by the desire to honour King Cetshwayo for the role he played in trying to protect the rights of his people.
