FOSKOR employees on Thursday donated 26 mattresses, 24 blankets and 42 pillow cases to child-run households in Mzingazi.
The contributions were made by the company’s Corporate Social Investment (CSI) and Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) departments to support the many youth in the area struggling to support their younger siblings and other family members.
‘It is so important to consider these children, especially during winter,’ said CSI Administrator Thembile Jobe.
‘We have to give back to our communities and let them know we are here for them. Every little bit helps.’
