TWO men who were arrested and charged with the January murders of David (76) and Ann (73) Strauss have been sentenced to life in prison.
The sentence was handed down just minutes ago by Judge Yvonne Mbatha sitting in the Pietermaritzburg High Court.
Ntokozo Mbuyazi (21) and Mpilo Ngema (20) in May pleaded guilty to the brutal murders of the elderly couple in their KwaMbonambi home and handed in full confessions to the state.
‘The family is very emotional at this point, and will be making a statement at a later stage,’ said a family insider.
